Past Successful Events

The recent ceremony and grand opening of our new Alkhairia Islamic Centre unfolded in a beautiful manner. Brother Saad opened the program with warm greetings and a brief reflection on the journey and collective efforts that led to the centre's inaugration. The spiritual tone was set with Khatam-e-Khwajigan led by Brother Usman followed by a soulful Qasida Burda Shareef and naat recitations by Mujtaba Alkhairi. Brother Saad then acknowledged and thanked those who contributed to establishing and organizing the centre before transitioning into the next segment of the program.

The gathering was further enriched with Qur'an recitation including by Yusuf and Zubair, as well as a heartfelt group recitation led by the red classe under the guidance of Taaha. Students then delivered thoughtful speeches, with Arwa speaking on the life of Sayyidana Abu Bakr (R.A.), Abdul Wahab reflecting on the importance of building and sustaining a mosque as the House of Allah ﷻ, and Ghania sharing insights on Isra wal Miraj.

Alkhairia Islamic Centre hosted another successful end-of-semester ceremony, celebrating the achievements, growth, and spiritual development of students during the Spring semester. The gathering was presided over by Shaykh Muhammad Badar Alam Jan and his respected son, Rahmat Alam Jan, along with Shaykh Muhammad Safar al-Madani, former Imam of Masjid Quba. Their presence, alongside various political figures, respected businessmen, lawyers, and community leaders, added to the honor and significance of the event.

The beautiful event highlighted the students' dedication as they shared their reflections and what they learned during the Spring semester with the community. A beautiful Qur'an recitation was presented by Zubair, followed by Musa, who translated its meaning into English. Nauraiz continued with another heartfelt Qur'an recitation, while Arwa and Hafsa captivated the audience with a moving nasheed. Humzah shared a hadith about Sayyidina Hussain (RA), and Safa shared a hadith which emphasized learning and teaching the Qur'an. Later, all of the students joined Brother Mustafa Alkhairy in a recitation of Assalam Ya Hussain.

The end-of-semester ceremony at Alkhairia Islamic Centre was a spiritually enriching and joyful event, presided over by our honorable Shaykh Muhammad Badar Alam Jan, and his respected son, Ahmad Mujtaba Jan. The evening began with heartfelt dhikr, bringing together students, teachers, and families in remembrance of Allah ﷻ. 

Later in the ceremony, students showcased their progress through beautiful Qur’an recitations, nasheed performances, and inspiring speeches. Abdullah spoke passionately about the character of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, while Khadija reminded everyone of the importance of covering the faults of fellow Muslims. Mujtaba encouraged the audience to adopt the sunnah of eating less, and Ahmed moved hearts with a speech on loving the Prophet ﷺ. Ahmad Mujtaba Sahib delivered a profound reminder that those who follow Allah ﷻ and His Messenger ﷺ are promised the most precious reward: the love of Allah ﷻ.
